In all the rush of the last round, we missed a few of the postings. As I can catch up on them, I'll try and post them here. First up, a video from Pepsi where I was interviewed after the announcement.

Round Two.
Things here have started to heat up again recently. Our little project has some new life and we're looking forward to sharing the news with everyone...soon. For the time being, if you know of any organizations that could benefit from this type of app, we're looking for partnerships and have already begun discussions with several large nonprofits.

Missed out
Well folks, we missed out on being in this month's round of Pepsi Refresh grants. Pepsi's servers got slammed at 12:00 and didn't come back up for me until all 1,000 slots were taken. They will not accept further submissions until May 1. While I would be hesitant to say never about anything, I doubt we will pursue the Pepsi circus again. At this stage, I believe it best to just dig in and start building the damn thing, ya know?

The next step
We wanted to thank everyone once again for their support during the Pepsi Refresh SXSW challenge. From everything we could see, we were swapping the lead with @garyvee's team all night. We even saw a lead change at about 11:45 meaning that we had taken the lead with only 15 minutes left. Unfortunately, things didn't end the way we would have liked them to meaning that we ended the voting in second place.
After regrouping post SXSW, we've decided as a team to move forward with the Sparkhelp project! At the suggestion of many at the conference, we've decided to enter the Pepsi Refresh grant contest open to the general public at http://www.refresheverything.com. The grant money is the same and our goal remains the same: To produce the Sparkhelp app (both website and mobile versions) in twelve months.
Stay tuned to our site here or through our @sparkhelp twitter account. We will need your help once more but this time we will bring home the gold!

Hey, folks. Not expecting any surprises but that is when results will become official. I'll be sure to check back in then and let you know the outcome. We'll announce our plans at that time.
